Changing Matter

A ‘whole innovation’ catalog, Changing Matter is our contemporary homage to the Whole Earth Catalog. We collated the research, insights, ideas and ideals that drove our own journey towards becoming a more regenerative engineering studio into a non-linear encyclopedia.

Like the catalog itself, the title, Changing Matter, is a call to action: to shift consciousness and therefore reality by integrating ancient wisdom, emerging capabilities, and evolutionary laws into radical human potential.

Gentle Systems created this catalog to invite conversation around topics that inspire us, in hopes this may inspire others in turn. Our heartfelt belief is that innovation is core to being human, and will guide our way toward far-out horizons only when aligned with positive intent and holistic awareness to overcome structural challenges. To achieve this vision, and to break from so many destructive patterns repeated over centuries, our thinking and heart-space needs to become more open, imaginative, and daring. By sharing insights and giving attention to what matters, we accelerate change in how we think and act.

Now, in this moment and momentum of a global reset, as we shift how we live, work, travel, and create, as we feel the injustice waged on individuals, society, and planet, we are energized to undo the structures that oppose the hoop of life, and rebuild a thriving civilization upon the foundation of inter-being within a greater, inclusive and ultimately cosmic community.
